Fall opens with an important milestone in automotive-related certifications: Teoresi is officially a Vector Certified Embedded Engineering Partner.
The constant presence of software in automotive management has created a need for carmakers to standardize and regulate their design and manufacturing processes. In fact, an increasing number of manufacturers are requiring their suppliers to comply with the AUTOSAR (AUTomotive Open System Architecture) standard, which grew out of this need in 2003.
A prestigious recognition obtained thanks to the expertise and knowledge of the AUTOSAR standard by Paolo Bizzarri and Massimiliano Curti, Technology Development Manager and Senior Technology Leader in Teoresi, who, having achieved the status of Vector Certified Embedded Professional allowed our company to access the exclusive partnership with Vector, market leader in the development of hardware and software for electronic systems in the automotive field and a sponsor member of the Autosar consortium.
The partnership qualifies Teoresi as a supplier compliant with the standard for ECU software architectures and enables us to offer certified and competent support in embedded software development projects for the automotive sector.
The certification is the result of a 5-month training offered by the Vector Academy, divided into modules including Microsar SIP (runtime environment and software modules), ECU communication, diagnostic protocols, and various Autosar insights. Passing the training phase gave us direct access to resources, workshops, forums and exclusive technical sessions on specific topics and the opportunity to engage with industry professionals from all around the world.
This represents the first in a series of milestones we have set and that include continuous in-house training, that will enable us to explore further topics, such as the Adaptive Autosar, designed to respond to a set of new requirements arising from new concepts of smart and connected mobility, such as to make it more efficient, sustainable and safe, related, for example, to the introduction of the autonomous vehicles.
A result that further strengthens the know-how created over the years in the company and confirms Teoresi’s “embedded” vocation and reliability, especially in German and American markets where compliance with the standard is particularly required, opening up opportunities for new automotive projects and consolidating partnerships with existing customers.
