“Tech challenge: think disruptive & be resilient”: the award ceremony and the winners
CorporateAmong the various activities carried out by Teoresi during the months of lockdown, the initiative we called “Tech Challenge: think disruptive & be resilient” was of particular importance for us. 20 teams (for a total of 70 colleagues) worked on as many projects with the aim of making some of them real prototypes to enrich our Demo Room. The proposals covered a wide range of high-growth sectors, from automation testing to predictive maintenance, from media application to open banking.
During the online award ceremony, the winning projects, plus 3 special prizes, were announced. The event was attended by over 100 people: many colleagues were involved, as well as the Challenge participants and representatives from each functional area of the company, to testify the transversality of the project and the importance, for Teoresi, of pursuing an idea of “shared knowledge” that has been driving its initiatives for years, and which finds its strength in complex and delicate scenarios, such as the one that we are currently experiencing.
The 3 special prizes were the first to be announced (Best Presentation, Most Disruptive Idea and Best Team), with the double victory of the same team that returned a moment of sincere and emotional amazement. Then it was the turn of the three winning projects, which stood out with proposals in biomedical, HMI and food&beverage fields.
This variety of ideas and proposals was also underlined by Raffaele Rizzarelli, President of Teoresi Inc., who, at the opening, praised the enthusiasm and ability of all participants to think “out of the box”, creating timely proposals of value that can be spent in the long term and can constitute real improvements for our daily life.
A topic taken up in part also by Valter Brasso, CEO of Teoresi, who closed the ceremony with a special thanks, addressed to all the participants, for having been able to transform the critical issues of this period into positive and constructive opportunities.
