Teoresi has opened a new office in Basel, Switzerland: another milestone in our strategy of expansion and consolidation in the European market.
Switzerland, with its world-renowned pharmaceutical industry and being one of the most advanced financial centers in the field of fintech, represents a strategic market for Teoresi: the geographical position of Basel at the border between Switzerland, France, and Germany allows us to be more responsive to the needs of local, existing, and potential clients in the Life Sciences sector and the activities of the development of IT infrastructures for banks, insurance companies, and investment firms in the Financial Services sector.
The opening of the new branch strengthens our presence in Swiss territory and also allows us to provide our colleagues with a welcoming space in one of the most fascinating and culturally vibrant cities in Europe.
And you: what do you know about Basel?
Basel offers an environment that stimulates and fosters the optimal conditions for exploration, development, and creation: the city has always been characterized by the presence of famous personalities for their scientific, cultural, or even sports contributions.
Friedrich Nietzsche taught at the University of Basel, and Hermann Hesse wrote some of his most famous works here. Euler formulated most of his mathematical theories in Basel (and you, would you be able to solve the “Basel problem“?). The city is also known for being the birthplace of tennis champion Roger Federer.
Basel is also famous for its “drei scheenschte Dääg” (three most beautiful days), as the Basel Carnival is called, included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list.
Here, talents find everything they need to grow: Basel is a city steeped in history and culture, with a lively artistic scene and a rich academic heritage. It was the site of Switzerland’s first university and continues to be a center of excellence in research and higher education.
Basel, along with Zurich and Geneva, is among the cities with the highest quality of life in the world.
