How to increase the speed and network capacity of vehicles to develop more advanced features such as adaptive cruise control, active lane departure, automatic parking systems, and even fully autonomous vehicles?
On Tuesday, April 23rd, we hosted the Automotive Ethernet Tech Day 2024 at our Headquarters in Turin: one of the two European stops conceived by Intrepid Control Systems, aimed at introducing our customers and colleagues to the innovative world of Automotive Ethernet, providing them with a space to share their knowledge and discuss the latest industry innovations, challenges, and opportunities in the industry.
An entire day spent between presentations by experts from Intrepid Control Systems and Keysight – an American company that produces electronic testing and measurement equipment – who shared the latest technologies related to Vehicle Zone Architecture, delving into the foundational elements of Automotive Ethernet with a particular focus on Cybersecurity – and an in-depth session by Gianluca Cerio, Global Technical Business at Teoresi Group, on the topic of Some/IP (Scalable service-Oriented MiddlewarE over IP), a communication middleware designed for use in this field. All supported by solutions and tools offered by Intrepid Control Systems, our technological partner for over 10 years.
A demo area set up in the adjacent spaces to the conference attracted the interest of participants who had the opportunity to see in action and try out the devices designed for the development, testing, and validation of vehicular networks projects, specifically designed for Automotive Ethernet.
