At full speed towards 6G: Teoresi has become an Associate Member of 6G Smart Networks and Services Industry Association (6G-IA)

Teoresi has joined 6G Smart Networks and Services Industry Association (6G-IA) as Associate Member; a significant step for our positioning to contribute to the technological advancement of next-generation wireless communication. 

6G-IA, as the voice of Industry and Research for next-generation networks and services, serves as a pivotal platform for Europe’s leadership in 5G, its evolution, and the research and development of future generations such as 6G. 

Bringing together a diverse community of global telecoms and digital actors, 6G-IA serves as a hub for collaboration, standardization, and research initiatives. The association’s activities span a wide range of strategic areas, such as developing and implementing standards, frequency spectrum (distribution of electromagnetic waves to transmit wireless signals), collaboration with key vertical industry sectors, and international cooperation. 

For Teoresi, joining 6G-IA represents an opportunity to contribute its expertise and technical competencies to the development of 6G technology. Our experience in 5G, which spans activities that include using 5G as a transmission channel for GPS positioning correction to V2X communication for vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure connectivity, makes us the ideal candidate to actively contribute to the association’s initiatives and  and validate usage scenarios of 6G technology, particularly in the field of smart mobility. 

Teoresi’s membership has been included in an exclusive group of Associate Members for 6G-IA, alongside the City of Turin with Torino City Lab, already a partner of Teoresi for experimentations on connected cars and smart roads for the development of cities of the future.
