February 9th, 2017 – Turin (Italy)
The communication demand in the vehicles has increased noticeably in recent years, and car manufacturers are exploiting CAN to its limits.
The workshop aims to give a survey of the latest advancement on Vehicle Networking with focus on tools and test solutions already available in the market.
Automotive Ethernet and CAN-FD are taking over some of the tasks of the bus systems now mainly used. Their higher bandwidth and the introduction of new communication paradigms are some of the aspects that make it possible.
Ethernet in particular is the key to close the gap between Automotive and IT domains offering new applications, new business models as well as the need to study and develop smart and secure ideas for the automotive safety.
