Teoresi’s realistic utopia at the 2024 Biennale Tecnologia: towards new possible worlds
CorporateESGPresentationsSustainabilityAlso Teoresi is among the appointments of the rich program of meetings and initiatives of the 2024 Biennale Tecnologia, the fourth edition of the extensive event taking place in Turin from April 18th to 21st, aiming to offer the community a thoughtful, inclusive, and accessible reflection on the relationship between technology and society.
The Biennale Tecnologia, a project by the Polytechnic University of Turin, has been a recurring event since 2019, featuring a packed agenda of over 160 debates, lectures, and performances spread throughout the city of Turin. It serves as a space for reflection on the role of technology in all aspects of human life: starting from the latest innovations and tracing back to Italy’s technological roots, it addresses the environmental, ethical, social, and economic implications of decisions related to major technological themes such as artificial intelligence, energy, transportation, and telecommunications.
The title of the 2024 edition is „Realistic Utopias„: a clear invitation to imagine, discuss, and, if possible, build new possible worlds.
Teoresi also contributes to building new worlds, with a joint speech with the MOST Foundation (National Center for Sustainable Mobility), on the topic of urban smart mobility.
On April 19th at 3:30 PM in Classroom 3 of the Polytechnic of Turin, Beatrice Borgia, Chief Corporate Development Officer of the Teoresi Group, and Gianmarco Montanari, General Manager of the MOST Foundation, will discuss strategies and innovations to overcome the challenges of urban mobility, such as decarbonization, safety, and traffic reduction.
The dialogue, moderated by La Stampa journalist Paolo Griseri, will focus on an integrated mobility vision between vehicles and infrastructure, aiming for more widespread and functional public transport, disciplined sharing, and new proposals for last-mile logistics.
Topics addressed include smart cities, intelligent, connected, and autonomous mobility, Teoresi’s role and expertise in these areas, and the importance of synergy with research centers, universities, and institutions, such as the MOST Foundation, in the perspective of building a more sustainable and secure future for urban mobility.
