Connection DAY 2018: a walk in the Teoresi sky, a learning opportunity for 700 employees from all over the world

The Connection Day, the annual event dedicated to all the Teoresi employees, took place in Turin on November 17th. This last edition has confirmed itself as an event awaited with curiosity and new expectations by all the people belonging to the “Teoresi constellation”.In this edition, in fact, we wanted to talk about constellations, speaking about stars right in the title of the event: A sky full of stars. This has been done to give value and thank all the talents who belong to the Teoresi team and daily contribute to its growth.
It has been an occasion to speak about updates and company evolution, and to host more technical speeches. The event, in fact, has been enriched with insights on topics which allow to keep the horizon open to new ideas and points of view, knowledge and questions thanks to the speeches of important external keynote speakers.
It has been a honor to host astronaut Paolo Nespoli on our stage, and a privilege to live, through his words, the challenges that characterized his experience as an astronaut and man in the space. Commitment, dedication, and the work of each person within a team, are some of the aspects that Paolo Nespoli highlighted and imparted to us during his speech, values we share and always pursue through participation, education and engagement.
Among the many topics touched during the convention, we also talked about System/Software Engineering, Smart Mobility, Smart Systems and Intelligent HMIs, in terms of current trends and future scenarios; a perfect occasion to share knowledge, suggestions, observations about the extraordinary evolution in technological, scientific and engineering fields, with a special consideration for the sectors Teoresi works in.
Teoresi has always been paying close attention to technological and innovation challenges. This was a perfect frame for the speech about the implications of the Artificial Intelligence, held by engineer Giulia Baccarin,  who highlighted some open questions of the current age.
