A new milestone for Teoresi: we are now compliant with ISO/IEC 27001 standard

The last days of July were hot and busy days. Over the last few weeks, to mark a year full of activity, Teoresi passed the certification audit for the recognition of the international standard ISO / IEC 27001:2017, conducted by Kiwa Cermet, which involved the Italian offices of Turin, Milan, Modena, Naples, Rome, and all the main company functions.

The goal of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard is to provide all the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving the information security management system (ISMS).

The new certification confirms Teoresi’s commitment to guaranteeing the protection of information resources from risks and threats, not only of an IT nature but also of an environmental and organizational nature, ensuring their integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
The scope of the certification concerns the provision of systems consultancy services and engineering support, research, development, design, installation, configuration, maintenance, and integration of HW and SW ICT systems and related training to customers.

The promotion of the culture of innovation also includes an improvement path that is based on continuous learning and the implementation of procedures and processes optimized according to international standards.
Teoresi “aced” the audit with a particular mention in the report regarding a “leading leadership and a motivated operating personnel for the continuous improvement with regards to the compliance with contractual and legal requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2017”.
