Introducing yESGo!: A new forest supporting AIRC Research

We have set out to achieve a double objective with one significant project: yESGo! This new forest will be created thanks to our well-established collaboration with Treedom over the years. The name reflects the enthusiasm that led to the creation of Teoresi Go! our new space dedicated to showcasing the Group’s ESG projects.

With yESGo!, dozens of new trees will be planted, contributing to the improvement of our Planet’s health and supporting cancer research. Treedom will allocate 50% of the value of each tree purchased by Teoresi to fund the work of young under-40 AIRC researchers engaged in laboratory activities within a prestigious Italian research facility as part of the My First AIRC Grant project.

• Helping the planet, supporting local economies: yESGo! is Teoresi’s fifth forest established in partnership with Treedom, two years after the one created during Connection Day 2022 and the company’s 35th anniversary. Treedom enables local farmers to directly plant trees worldwide, launching sustainable economic development projects. Since 2010, over four million trees have been planted across Africa, Latin America, Asia, and Italy.
  The 200 mango trees that will grow in Haiti mark Teoresi’s first forest in Central America.
  

• Supporting young AIRC researchers: 50% of the value of each tree purchased by Teoresi to help create the new forest will be used to co-finance the My First AIRC Grant project by the AIRC Foundation for Cancer Research. Specifically, it will support the work of under-40 researchers engaged in laboratory activities within a prestigious Italian research facility.

• Creating virtuous networks to amplify positive impact: With this initiative, Teoresi aims to generate double positive impacts. First, by supporting two organizations, Treedom and AIRC, that share our goals: improving the planet’s health and pursuing cutting-edge technological solutions for healthcare. Second, we believe in providing professional opportunities to new generations of Life Sciences professionals.
